Volunteer roles in Mossley 2024

On Saturday 23 March, Mossley Town Team hosted ‘A Celebration Of Mossley Volunteers’ event at Emmaus. The event brought together some of the town’s voluntary groups, giving attendees the chance to find out about the wide variety of volunteer roles available.

For those who couldn’t attend, we’ve compiled a roundup of the roles available at the voluntary groups who were present. It’s safe to say that there are volunteer roles for everyone – no matter what your age, skills, knowledge, interest or availability. There are lots of personal benefits to volunteering and Mossley is a much better place thanks to the many kind people who give their time, skills and energy as volunteers.

If you want to get involved in your town but don’t want to commit to volunteering each week or month, that’s not a problem. As you can see, the majority of the organisations listed below welcome new volunteers on a flexible, ad-hoc basis – all you need to do is make that initial contact to find out more and sign up. Click on the names below to open up more info on each.
